Formally trained as a Statistician and Computer Scientist, Carl Brewer has been applying his skills to the medical field since 1986. Carl Brewer has been working as a Senior Biostatistician at McGill University, the Montreal General Hospital Division of Clinical Epidemiology, and the Montreal Genome Center.

His area of expertise includes statistical analysis and modeling, Markov chain Monte-Carlo techniques, development of computer-based simulation models, database configuration and manipulation, object-oriented programming and development, and database driven web site design and application. Carl Brewer has applied these skills to the fields of Epidemiology, Medical Genetics, Social Marketing, Occupational Therapy, and Psychology.

His extensive software expertise ranges from Statistical and Genetic analysis software, to conventional programming, web site and graphic design, office applications, and operating systems.
